Oh Christmas Tree!

We decorated our tree tonight. This is the first year that Drew really got into it. I love looking at it and seeing the cluster of ornaments :) And even the "Control Freak" in me has let it go and left those ornaments grouped together.


Drew was so excited when I brought up the box of ornaments. He ran and got his Santa hat and laid out the tree skirt. "TaaDah"

Giggi and Papa's Winter Wonderland

My parents have more Santas than I can count. The collection grows each year. We stopped by one afternoon when the decorating was beginning. Drew's favorite has always been "Jumping Santa". He sings and jumps. Caroline was not too sure about him, but of course now follows in Drew's footsteps and jumps along too!

So Studious...

Caroline really enjoys "reading" her books. She loves to sit in her chair at Giggi's house, listen to the music and enjoy a good book!

Visit to See Santa

We headed to visit Santa. Caroline enjoyed playing much more than sitting with Santa.


It was a very tiring trip!

FREEDOM!!!

Craig was at practice, Drew was down for his nap, Caroline was playing all around so, being sick for the 10th day in a row, I decided to lay on the couch with a heated rice bag on my forehead/eyes. I could hear Caroline enjoying her freedom-not only from Drew but also with Mommy sick on the couch. When I finally peeled myself off the couch. I could smell why Caroline had felt the need to unroll all of the toilet paper from the bathroom. :) Pretty smart of her. The poor girl was just trying to take care of business herself!

When Did I Lose Control?

I sat here tonight looking at my family room and wondered when I lost total control of it. :) Happily, I can't even remember what it was like without toys, etc. in it. I just sat back on the couch, watched the kids playing together and smiled, "What a beautiful mess". I love these messy kids and wouldn't change one thing about my messy life!

Baptism

We had the kids baptized at Epiphany this weekend. It was a nice service and I feel much better that we did it (finally). It was nice to have the kids do it together too. Grandma made Caroline's pretty dress! After the church service, we all came back to our house and had a nice lunch and Who-Dey Sunday together!
