Today during the closing benediction at church, the minister said something along the lines of "Thank you Lord for you constant presence in our daily lives..." Caroline heard the word "presence" and popped up for her lounging position yelling, "Presents, I like presents!" So glad we sit in the same place every week and everyone around us does too!
Today ends Drew's first soccer season. It was a great experience for Drew (and us!). He showed so much improvement from the start of the season. After the first couple of games not scoring, he scored at least once in the rest of the games. He had a great time and that is what is most important to us!
Before the last game, the coaches had donuts, fruit kabobs, and juice for the team and families. The kids then received their trophies. Drew was awarded the "Most Aggressive" award. Is that good or bad?!
Today we headed to the pumpkin patch and met up with the Aliagas. It was so fun to walk around the corn maze and let the kids run wild on a beautiful fall day!
What a gorgeous Sunday! We took the kids to Kings Island after we left church today. It was crowded but such a nice day to be outside (not raking leaves). The kids had fun (of course) doing something a little different than our usual trip!
Caroline showing her attitude. She would not look at the camera.
Drew is going to be a fireman for Halloween. So he loved seeing the truck and getting to wear the helmet!
PLAY-DOH! The kids have both had the icky fall cold that's going around. So, in an effort to not infect all of the neighborhood kids, I kept them locked up. We got out ALL of the Play-Doh to keep us entertained. They were very excited to see all of the neat things I had kept hidden :)
